This is not a Virtual Farm...It is Reality

  

There are many decisions to be made before and after a seed is planted to have a successful crop at harvest.

See how your decisions stack up to Ted, Phil and Ian, co-operators of a farming operation based on Tyden Farm No. 6, in deciding the best practices to raise a successful crop on 40 acres in north central Iowa. 

How it Works

  

· Participants will be sent the background information of the 40 acres used that year, similar to what one would receive if they were to buy or rent the property.

· Participants will receive an email with that week's question with four possible answers every Monday May through harvest.  The answer need to be in by 8PM Wednesday in order to be counted.

· Individuals will be divided into groups of not more than 25 participants.

There will also be pictures posted of what is happening on the 40 acres each week so participants can see and show friends what is happening on their farm.
